Smokey quartz is a grey, translucent variety of quartz. It ranges in clarity from almost complete transparency to a brownish-grey crystal that is almost opaque. The smokey colour results from free silicon formed from the silicon dioxide by natural irradiation.

Smokey Quartz is a stone of protection with the power to neutralize negative vibrations.

Dragons eggs are beautifully cut and polished on the front to give a clear window inside the crystal.  It's unpolished frosty outer sides are what give it that wonderful dragon egg finish.
