Unicorn Stone Obelisk

Unicorn Stone is a recent find from Madagascar. It is a powerful but gentle combination of Lepidolite, Pink Tourmaline, Smokey Quartz and Cleavelandite.

The combination of these crystals brings calm, stillness, joy, empathy, positivity and safety.

Lepidolite:

Lepidolite is a pink to purple coloured Mica with the colour coming from Manganese or Lithium.

Due to the Lithium content (found in anti-depressants), it has been traditionally used to relieve depression and anxiety and is regarded as a very relaxing stone.

Lepidolite is one of the most powerful stones for counteracting stress, worry, fear, grief and other traumatic emotional frequency.  It aids greatly in coping with change. 

Lepidolite is also very calming for sensitive children.  Its a hug in a crystal and one of my personal favourites.

Pink Tourmaline:

Pink Elbaite Tourmaline (also referred to as Rubellite) is found in varying shades, from pale pink to deep, almost ruby, pink.

Pink Tourmaline has a feminine energy and is a stone of love, compassion, emotional healing and self love.

It helps to calm ones emotions in times of distress and is the perfect stone to carry if you suffer from daily bouts of anxiety.

It is also a very loving and protective stone for children.

Pink Tourmaline is such a strong healing stone due to it commonly being formed within Quartz masses.

Smokey Quartz:

Smokey Quartz is a grey, translucent variety of Quartz.

It ranges in clarity from almost complete transparency to a brownish-grey crystal that is almost opaque. The smokey colour results from free silicon formed from the silicon dioxide by natural irradiation.

Smokey Quartz is a stone of protection with the power to neutralize negative vibrations. It protects against bad luck and dispels nightmares. 

It is a grounding crystal that aids in the ability to move forward in life.  It disperses fear and lifts depression and negativity. 

Smokey Quartz is detoxifying on all levels, prompting elimination of the digestive system and protecting against radiation and electromagnetic smog.

Children and teenagers may have difficulties balancing their energy and emotions. Placing Smoky Quartz in your child's bedroom will help ground, absorb negative energies and stabilise unwanted moods.

Cleavelandite:

Cleavelandite is a variety of Albite that forms in pale, tabular sheets. Cleavelandite minerals are usually white with a vitreous lustre in reflected light and with perfect cleavage in one direction. The hardness is usually 6 to 6.5 on the Mohs scale. It can often be found to be infused with Mica, Lepidolite, and Tourmaline.

Cleavelandite can be found in the United States, Canada, Brazil, Madagascar, and Russia. Cleavelandite was named in 1823 by Henry J. Brooke in honour of Parker Cleaveland who was a professor of geology and mineralogy at Bowdoin College in Maine from 1805-1858. 

Cleavelandite is said to help you release past hurt and cope better with life changes, releasing negativity and bringing in positive thoughts, thus aiding you to embrace change and more easily adapt to new circumstances.
